Southerly !

With 5 really enjoyable shows in Scotland under the belt Gareth heads South this week for the next 5 dates with Rob Halligan on the Autumn Duo Tour. First up is Coventry followed by Worthing, Tamworth, Harlow and then Maldon. "Try This At Home" the collaborative album project arising from the tour is now available at the Heading West Music Shop and at all the gigs. Heading North & "Try This At Home"

Gareth is heading out on the first leg of the Autumn Duo Tour with Rob Halligan this week. The first date is on Wednesday 1st October at St Martin's in Edinburgh and then on to Aberdeen, Banff, Buckie and Dyce in the next 4 days. All the details are in our LIVE section. We've also news of a new collaborative recording project that Gareth has just finished with Rob Called "Try This At Home" it's an 8-track mini-album that will be launched on the Autumn Tour. We'll have copies available on the website later this week. In the meantime "Water & Light" Gareth's latest solo album is available from the Heading West Shop.

Coming Up......

Gareth's summer schedule wound up over the bank holiday weekend with a great return trip to the Greenbelt Festival in Cheltenham. From here it's into the Autumn dates with a few exciting gigs in Carlisle, Glasgow, Falkirk and Ayr with Yvonne Lyon (see our Gig list for details), some solo dates in the North East and of course the annual Autumn Tour with Rob Halligan. Look out for an interview with Gareth in the current edition of "Rock n' Reel" magazine and reviews of 'Water & Light' in "Properganda Magazine" along with several others.

New Album Launched !

So the day arrived and Gareth's new album is now on general release (from Friday 16th May 2008). We've posted some early reviews (which are pretty good !) in the reviews section along with the official Press Release in our Bookings section. Visit the Heading West Music shop to listen to samples or check in to the MySpace site for a couple of full tracks to listen to. Watch out for more tour news soon.
